The local CACC started making cuts just under a month ago after announcing that they were suffering from a $5-million deficit, which was later revealed as a $5.9-million hole. These cuts equated to home nursing visits being slashed by 33 per cent, as well long-term clients having their minimal care removed — just like Havens, who used to receive two hours a week.
