‘FAIR – supporting auto accident victims through advocacy and education’
FAIR believes that victims of motor vehicle accidents (MVA) should have a way to speak up and be heard about the difficult circumstances we have experienced in our dealings with insurance companies and the current insurance legislation. Ontario’s auto insurance system is broken and too many accident victims are left to fend for themselves, without support and without the care they need. Together we need to make our stories known to government representatives, the insurance industry and the public so we can make the changes that are required to improve coverage and access to treatment.

FAIR Association of Victims for Accident Insurance Reform mandate is:
1. Educate the public and consumers about Ontario’s insurance coverage and to advocate for legitimate MVA claimants to receive timely, appropriate and necessary treatment to realize maximum potential recovery.
2. Work to restore legitimate claimants’ access to timely treatment and supports for recovery through policy and legislative changes.
3. Ensure that equitable resource and funding is available and allocated for all parties involved; claimants, insurers, health care providers and legal representatives.
