TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2015 /CNW/ – The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) has announced that it will release a report alleging that the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) ignores opinions and recommendations from some health care providers. Unfortunately, the OFL report was not shared or discussed with the WSIB in advance, but we would be happy to review any files that they would like to bring to our attention.

Autonomous Vehicles still have accidents, and maybe more than humans

There has been plenty in the press over the last months regarding how autonomous vehicles are going to change… well everything. These self-driving cars will result in less accidents we are told, while they will revolutionize the auto insurance industry by making premiums more affordable and putting the liability on the shoulders of manufacturers and not consumers.

Few think of those benefits as covering a portion of your income while you’re disabled and unable to work. This concept is called “disability benefits” or “disability insurance“.
